This flyover on the A46 Coventry Eastern Bypass opened in 2022. It cost £61.4 million - there is always money for roads - and forms part of a programme for improvements to the bypass which will see work carried out in future at the Walsgrave junction, too; see the National Highways site https://nationalhighways.co.uk/our-roads/west-midlands/a46-coventry-junctions-upgrade/ . Binley Woods, a well-wooded suburb beyond the city boundary, can be seen in the distance.
