This is the end of 5 Church Lane, with the other terraced cottages behind. The small plaque beside the window on the end wall states 'Church Cottages 1700AD'. They are Grade II listed and the List entry concurs with that date but adds: '...possibly with earlier core, since there is evidence of several phases of construction, and substantial alterations include raising the height of the row.'
