Queen's Park - west lodge

Each of the pair of lodges at the main (north) gates of the park is grade II listed. The list entry for this one is 1136230. Architect John Brooke, date 1888. The white wording between the ground and first floor continues that on the west lodge Image and appears to read "and was opened together with the Victoria Avenue by Field Marshal Commander-in-Chief HRH The Duke of Cambridge K G".
