Neighbourhood Officer Details
I am PC 1546 KOOISTRA and have been a constable since 2020. I have responsibility for Shephall and Bandley Hill within Stevenage.
I am PC 1636 Dee MARR and I have been a Police Officer since 2007. I am the Hate Crime Officer within Community Safety Units for both North Herts and Stevenage.
I am the licencing officer for Stevenage, I have responsibly for licencing matters within Stevenage, and I have extensive experience having worked for Hertfordshire police for many years. I work with partners and licenced premises to ensure regulation are adhered to and to support licensees with safeguarding their business and their customers.
Graeme is no stranger to Stevenage, and he actually started his police career in the town. Graeme joined the force back in 1999 and specifically requested to be stationed in Stevenage where he joined the response team before becoming a Detective in 2003. He was soon promoted to Detective Sergeant and led an Area Crime Team and then the pro-active Scorpion Team.
From there Graeme joined the Beds, Cambs & Herts Major Crime Unit in 2013 and worked on several high-profile murder cases. A promotion to Detective Inspector followed and Graeme returned to Stevenage in 2018 to lead the local Crime Unit. In 2020 he was promoted to Chief Inspector and worked in several roles around the county before returning once again to Stevenage to take the helm.
Commenting on his new role he said: "I am delighted to be back in Stevenage again and I’m ready for a new challenge. My police teams are hard-working and motivated, and I am so pleased to have the opportunity to lead them. We are all committed to making Stevenage a safe place to live and visit as well as building on the excellent work already in place.
"We have good working relationships with partner agencies, including Stevenage Borough Council and the Haven charity, and will continue our work with local schools to try and steer young people away from crime.
"Drug and knife crime continue to be an issue in the town, and I will be looking to enhance our work in these areas. Stevenage police is well supported by its local communities and we rely heavily on local information to help us target drug related crime. I hope this will continue."
As the CSU Sergeant for Stevenage, I lead the local Community Safety Unit to reduce crime and disorder manage Anti-Social behaviour cases appropriately and proportionally and provide support and safeguarding to increase trust and confidence with the police.
I have worked for Hertfordshire Constabulary since 2003 in mostly frontline policing roles. I spent over 6 years as a Safer Neighbourhood Sergeant where my focus was on problem-oriented policing and keeping people safe. My team consists of a Senior Licensing Officer, an Investigator dedicated to ASB, a Business Support assistant for licensing and ASB, and a PC to both safeguard and support hate crime victims along with proactive work in our communities.
My team works alongside the other CSUs across the county and external partners when there is a need for joined up problem solving to manage and reduce/stop the risk to the public and the demand on policing, in line with the Prevention First ethos.
I am Inspector 202 Nicholas Redfearn and have been a police officer since 2004. I lead the Neighbourhood Poling Team and have responsibility for partnership problem-solving for Stevenage North, Stevenage Central and Stevenage South.
Joined Herts Police in July 2018.
