Despite appearing older the Temple of Minerva was built as a pavilion for the Wembley Empire Exhibition of 1924, it was then demolished and rebuilt in Victoria Park in Bath in 1926. It was designed by local architect Alfred J Taylor. The words AQUA SULIS appears in the parapet on the south front and CITY OF BATH to the east side.
