A gateway into the grounds of Hatfield House, in Hertfordshire. Hatfield House is a 17th Century country house and grounds. The statue in front of the gates is of Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, 3rd Marquess of Salisbury, who served as Prime Minister during the late 19th Century and into the 20th. Hatfield House had been built by his ancestors and is still owned by the Gascoyne-Cecil family.
