9 May 2024 | You said: In partnership with Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council’s Street Wardens, regular patrols have been taking place in the town centre. This allows us to inform street drinkers about the Public Spaces Protection Order currently in place, and enforce it where appropriate as a joint effort. Community Protection Notices (CPNs) have been issued to a number of people committing anti-social behaviour in the car parks of the Town Centre. We have found these really useful in educating people about how their behaviour affects the community around them, and it puts the onus on them to change their behaviour before it becomes a criminal matter. |
9 May 2024 | You said: We did: We have also been educating the public using social media and Herts Connected to ensure they know the law around e-scooters and stop using them illegally. |
