Heale House near Middle Woodford

A Grade I Listed late C17 house built for Robert Hyde 1670 - 1700, it incorporates parts of an earlier house of 1571 that once stood on the site. It was greatly extended in the period 1898 - 1910. Charles II stayed at the former house that stood here after the Battle of Worcester, pending his escape to France.
