There has also been a 34 per cent reduction in the number of reports of shoplifting in Thorne since the NPT created the Shop Watch scheme.
With the help of Thorne Shop Watch, the team have also managed to secure 20 charges against a number of suspected shoplifters, with two prolific offenders given criminal behaviour orders (CBO) and a jail sentence

Anti social behavior involving motor bikes

Raised again at the CEM on 17th July

Goals- Patrol the identified areas , mobile patrol, foot patrol and with the use of force resources including drones and off road bike team.
Work with partners to identify those involved and addresses where bikes are being stored. Promote ; where's the bike campaign;
The PCSOS for Doncaster East are visiting all the primary schools to show the off road bike video and with a presentation about the illegal use of motorbikes, e-bikes and e-scooter

Work with Partners to look at enforcement, The off road bike team will be included in operations along side officers on foot and using drones
Road Policing Group ( traffic) will also be providing additional support.

Anti social behavior Broadway and surrounding streets

The issues have been identified from the rise in the number of reports of anti social behavior around Broadway and surrounding streets, including in the local parks, Quarry Park and Jubilee Park
This is affecting local residents, local businesses and people using the road network, parks and other green spaces

This work is linked to the previous priority of anti social behavior in the same area. Young people are using bikes on the green spaces and on the road network.
A number of youths were identified over the summer and all issued with notices to advise them to stop riding bikes.
Operations with the off road bike team have been completed. Officers have seized a few motorbikes. One male arrested after being found with two stolen bikes. Officers are following up on information about the location of bikes being stored and those involved.

Goals,- conduct speeding operations in these locals to establish the extent of the issue, including community speed watch operation with local residents

update- speeding in these locations raised at the Community Engagement Meeting on 17th July in Edenthorpe and Kirk Sandall
Brecks Lane has recently had traffic calming measures implemented.
Regular speed monitoring operations take place as well as community speed watch.

An increase in the number of incidents of Anti social behavior and damage in Stainforth
The main locations are Bootham crescent and Large Square

Partnership work is ongoing to look at this issue in more detail. Over the summer a number of individuals have been identified as being involved. The young people involved have been processed through the anti social behavior program and issued acceptable behavior contracts.
The number of incidents has reduced.

op duxford was held in Doncaster on 13th May, two warrants obtained under the theft act, it was suspected stolen motorbikes were being stored at these address. At one address, officers seized 2 quad bikes and 3 motorbikes . Later the same day, officers completed an operation around this area, NPAS was utilized and followed two youths on adapted electric bikes who were over taking cars on the road. The two youths on the bikes were detained and the bikes seized. This work has continued, further bikes have been recovered. Members of the public are being asked to report incident involving motorbikes and to pass on any information they have around those involved and where the bikes are being stored

Ward Councillors and residents who attended the community engagement meeting raised concerns about youths involved in ASB which included some of them riding motorbikes around the village on the roads and on greenspaces.

Partners along with East Neighbourhood Team are completing patrols and identifying those involved. Those identified are being referred to the council's ASB process. Additional work with Social Services, schools and St Ledger homes is taking place
