This private drive is not an understated one; it has too much signage. It warns of the drive being private with no public access, no through road and no access without permission. All a bit unnecessary. 'Private Drive' or even just one word, private would suffice. Most adults understand what that means. Most people have heard of trespass laws. But most importantly, most people couldn't care less about where this drive goes, and most people don't even give such signs a second thought. I sometimes think about them. I wonder why people with plenty (plenty of land, assets and wealth) transmit fear, paranoia and territorialism...Do they feel they have plenty to hide?
