Stanstead is not to be confused with Stansted in Essex, with the airport. This Stanstead is much quieter as depicted on this side of the sign. The old postmill which used to stand in the main street. The horses are standing beside the River Glem and the angels are copied from the corbels in the church. Wild roses decorate the scene.
