On the A58, Halifax Road, Ripponden. Although the top is slightly damaged this stone shows the shape of these 18C Rochdale, Halifax and Ealand turnpike stones. The other face is inscribed TO HALIFAX 5 MILES. At one time the 5 was painted as a 3. This stone is not 'listed'.
