These dairy cattle are on a smallholding just north of the village, beside the A68. They are definitely not commercial breeds, but what exactly I'm not sure. The brown and white ones could be Ayrshires, a once common dairy breed. The black one at the front has similarities to a Gloucester, but could be a cross.
