The stone set into the northern parapet of the bridge carrying the A45 over the Coventry to Leamington railway reads 'Coventry by-pass road' but the dual carriageway was already (or soon afterwards) running through suburbs when constructed in the 1930s. There is a date stone on the opposite parapet (Image]).
