Incredible as it may seem, some people actually celebrated losing their right of free movement, and that we will in all likelihood be getting poorer, by flying the Union Jack on Brexit Day, the day after the day the UK left the EU on 31 January 2020. Meanwhile, in Norwich's Winchester Tower block of flats > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5824443 a notice has appeared informing the residents that "as we have finally have our great country back we feel there is one rule that needs to be made clear: we do not tolerate people speaking in other languages than English in the flats. We are now our own country again and the Queens [sic] English is the spoken language here. If you do want to speak whatever is your mother tongue of the country you came from then we suggest you return to that place and return your flat to the council so they can let British people live here and we can return to what was normality before you infected this once great island. ... God Save the Queen, her government, and all true patriots."
