In January 2019, the name on the wall is The Bear Hotel. The name on the doorway and name sign https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6169536 is The Bear. Cadw records that the building has an early to mid Georgian 3-storey, 4-window front to a coaching inn of earlier origin, possibly dating back to the 15th century and certainly to the 17th century. Grade II (star) listed in 1952 as the Bear Hotel.
