Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of Huddersfield (Kirklees District), Somerset Road; opposite Benomley Road, Almondbury, in pavement in front of drystone wall, on North side of road. Hudds. 'To - From' stone, erected by an unknown authority in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : FROM / HUDDERSFIELD / 1½ / MILES : : TO / HUDDERSFIELD / 1½ / MILES : Milestone Society National ID: YW_XHTF10
