Cast iron post by the B2173, in parish of NORTH CRAY (BEXLEY District), Maidstone Road, Ruxley, East of Glebe Cottages, West of entrance to Manor Farm, deep in roadside hedge, on North side of road. Erected by the New Cross turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : FARNINGHAM / 4 : : North Cray : : FOOTSCRAY / 1 : Greater London HER.
