Behind the George V postbox shown in Image] is this Elizabeth II postboxm numbered BS2 2293. I don't think there can really be over 2000 postboxes in BS2; in fact there are only 1593 in the whole of the BS postcode area, according to https://edwardbetts.com/postboxes/index.html . The terrace in the background is "of 7 houses. 1789-1820. By Daniel Hague ... Late Georgian style" https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1208806 .
