Carved stone post by the UC road (was A361), in parish of BARNSTAPLE (NORTH DEVON District), Landkey Road, opposite Clinton Road, by "Brieryfields", on path in front of garden wall, on North side of road. Barum tombstone, erected by the Barnstaple turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- 1 BARUM Carved benchmark on the face. Milestone Society National ID: DV_BSSM01
