A carving in commemoration of Thomas Jones, Tregaron, known as Twm Sion Cati. He was born within a stone's throw of here and had a reputation of being the Welsh Robin Hood. https://www.historic-uk.com/HistoryUK/HistoryofWales/Twm-Sion-Cati-the-Welsh-Robin-Hood/ The carving was made to commemorate 400th anniversary of his death in 1609.
