Early 19th century, and quite possibly much earlier than that, The Chalet was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101075554-the-chalet-springfield-ward#.W9STTdQrLGg in 1982. The barn to its rear Image is roughly 17th century, so it's entirely possible that this house is of a similar age at its core.
