Cast-iron post on the B5143 road, Wallasey, Merseyside; in Rake Lane but house numbered as No 98 Penkett Road, against front wall, East side of road. C19th, probably erected by the Wallasey Local Board in connection with goods or passenger transport. Inscription reads:- NEW BRIGHTON FERRY M 1 Milestone Society ID: CH_NBF01C.
