The bench looks out over rolling Nottinghamshire countryside. It is close to the former and controversial animal testing site run by Boots of Nottingham and this is what it says on the bench's plaque - "IN MEMORY OF THE ANIMALS WHO SUFFERED ON THIS SITE FOR OUR BENEFIT".
