The cricket pavilion and ground are located on the other side of the hedge to the left of the stop, which is referred to as Selsted Cricket Club in bus timetables. One of the double-decker buses that ply this route between Canterbury and Folkestone (although some run as far as Hythe) has just passed the stop. Buses run every 15 minutes from 07:30 until 23:10 from Mondays to Saturdays and once an hour from 10:20 until 18:35 on Sundays and Bank Holidays. This image was taken during another blast of icy Siberian wind, courtesy of “the mini beast from the east”, through fine grains of snow, which was falling at the time. However this storm produced very little depth of lying snow in the far southeast of Kent.
