If it was not for the houses in the distance, this could be out in the country but is in fact in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Woodlands Farm was taken over by the Royal Arsenal Co-Operative Society in 1920 and used as a model piggery. The Woodlands Farm Trust was founded in 1997 and bought a 999 year lease on the farm with help from the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Bridge House Estates Trust. More details of the farm, which is the largest city farm in London, can be found at http://www.thewoodlandsfarmtrust.org/
