Looking south-west towards Wakeley Hill and Penn Common. There used to be a tortuous "circular" bus route linking Mount Road with the city centre. This route went in both directions and it has now been discontinued. The replacement service is a much shorter "circle" and only goes round in one direction, so this bus stop is redundant, except for occasional school services not available to the public. Two falls of snow within 48 hours resulted in a total depth on local open grassy areas of 15-18cm. Image]
