Cast iron post by the A422, in parish of Foscott (Aylesbury Vale District), Stratford Road; 200m West of gated (gate house) road to Foscott, opposite North West edge of reservoir, in deep ditch between road and hedge, on South side of road. Newport twin plaque, erected by the Buckingham & Newport Pagnell turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : BUCKINGHAM / 2 / STRATFORD / 6 : : NEWPORT / 12 / STRATFORD / 6 : Buckinghamshire HER.
