Carved stone post by the A4, in parish of Kintbury (West Berkshire District), Bath Road; Norlands College and Nursery (was Denford Park), on grass lawn to the left of entrance to the College with flint wall behind, on North side of road. Bath Road limestone shoulders, erected by the Speenhamland to Marlborough turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- : To / NEWBURY / 7 : : To / LONDON / 63 : : To / Hungerford / 2 : Grade II listed.
