This place of worship was built c.1930 in an art-deco style. The church itself, along with other buildings on the street, were home to a large congregation that eventually moved in 2016 to a purpose built place of worship and community centre on Burmantofts Road Image The building is among many in this part of Leeds under threat of redevelopment, but as of 2017 it was being leased by "Together for Peace", an umbrella body for several community organisations.
