This fine Pictish symbol stone standing about 1.85 m high features a salmon and a 'Pictish beast', which has been variously identified as an elephant(!), a dolphin and others: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pictish_Beast . Canmore record 17199 (https://canmore.org.uk/site/17199/rhynie-craw-stane ) describes very recent archaeological work, which suggests that the site may have been a fort and/or palace for Pictish nobles.
