A competitor's race in the Lancaster Insurance MGOC Championship on May Day comes to a premature end. Ralf Togneri qualified his MG F in thirteenth place on the starting grid. However, he had a problem approaching the tricky Quarry Corner and spun. Somehow avoiding the barriers, the car nevertheless refused to restart, and so the luckless driver had to abandon ship. The marshals organise some help as the recovery vehicle is despatched.
