Number 20, the house on the left, has a wall plaque which says 'Twenty Farthings'. This may mean the house at 20 is called 'Farthings' or the house is called 'Twenty Farthings' (just under 2p in modern money). Only twenty versions of the farthing with a wren on one side were issued (between 1937 and 1960), so there is a possible connection with the double-barrelled house name.
