The centre of Lydd was closed off for a tea party on Sunday 12th June 2016 to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday. As usual the weather did not play ball and the heavy rain fell throughout the morning. This was the scene at lunchtime. I do not know if it was eventually held or maybe it was moved into the church.
