Memorial to Aubrey Cyril Kempson, killed in an earthquake in Yokohama in 1923. The Great Kantō Earthquake of 1923 killed over 30,000 people in Yokohama, some 7% of the population, and injured a similar number (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yokohama#Great_Kanto_Earthquake_and_the_Second_World_War_.281923.E2.80.931945.29 ). Aubrey Kempson was on the staff of Samuel Samuel & Company Limited, a trading company based in the city (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_Samuel_%26_Co ); an image of his grave in Negishi Cemetery, Yokohama, can be seen at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Kempson&GSbyrel=in&GSdyrel=in&GSob=n&GRid=145598164& .
