A terrace set well back from the road on the left, but facing directly on to the lane at the rear, which is called "Back of Kingsdown Parade". The terrace, of 19 houses, dates from 1792 and "Originally a symmetrical arrangement of handed pairs linked by single-storey side entrance blocks, with a triple centrepiece" https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1292368 .
