Fascally Recreation Area plaque

This plaque commemorates the opening of the Sports Pavilion and two playing Fields on reclaimed industrial wasteland. Brora had for many years the only coalmine in the Highland Region; from a small tract of sedimentary strata amidst the dominant Caledonian granites.
