Looking along Albert Road, which is usually a one-way street towards the camera. It is currently closed while major construction work gets underway following the demolition of the old sorting office, to be replaced by dwellings. The frontage of the old post office is on Post Office Road, the next parallel road south - see Image - although the sorting office closed quite a few years before the post office itself moved in 2008. See Image for a picture of Yelverton Road, the reciprocal one-way street opposing Albert Road, which has temporarily had the direction of traffic reversed during this closure.
