The signpost points to the Ifor Williams trailer factory. This company, which started from a one man business is now a major employer in the middle-Dee Valley with a workforce of 500 and is the UK's largest producer of trailers up to 3500kg in weight. Its tow trucks and horseboxes find a ready market throughout these Islands as well as in Europe, Israel, Australia and New Zealand. I have come across Ifor Williams trucks in such contrasting places as Republican South Armagh and the cattle market in Unionist Ballymena. http://www.iwt.co.uk/company.htm
