This old drinking fountain stands on the southwest corner of the junction of Fountain Road with Clos y Ffynnon (both seemingly named after it). The text says it was erected in 1889 in memory of Rees Goring Thomas fulfilling his wish that Llannon have a plentiful supply of water. Judging by the low height of the spout and the trough below, this only might only apply to horses though. The fountain is Grade II listed.
