Rural Crime

Response (5 Feb 2024)

Rural crime continues to be a focus for the team especially now we are in the poaching / hare coursing

Anti-Social Behaviour

Response (14 Feb 2024)

ASB continues to be a priority in the Alderbury area. High Visibility patrols are being conducted at certain times to deal with any incidents and provide reassurance to the community. The police are working very closely with partner agencies including the Parish Councils, and local community groups to address some of the issues and concerns raised.

14 Feb 2024

Non-dwelling burglaries

Response (14 Feb 2024)

We have seen an increase in reports of burglary in Redlynch, Landford and Downton. These have predominately involved business premises and outbuildings. High visibility targeted patrols are being carried out in these areas.

14 Feb 2024

Vulnerable Checks

Response (14 Feb 2024)

Officers conduct regular visits to our identified vulnerable people to both reassure them following reported concerns and to deter visits by criminals who wish to exploit them. We have been working closely with Wiltshire Council Housing on evidence to support several injunctions which we have now got in place. These premises are visited regularly by the teams to provide support to those who are most vulnerable.
