The school opened in January 2012 with the attached private nursery, known as Stourport Nursery, and a Children's Centre facility. In Worcestershire primary schools take pupils up to the age of eleven. To the left of the school is a public footpath which leads to Tan Lane. This provides pedestrian access to the school.
