Built in 1937 and originally numbered 4488 by LNER and named "Osprey" it is a 4-6-2 locomotive to the same design as the "Sir Nigel Gresley" and the more famous "Mallard". Seen here passing Pinnelhill and Pinnelhill Wood on the right. This train used to run regularly on excursions between Edinburgh to Dundee during the summer.
