46 was the Kings Arms, a Palmers Pub. Refurbished in 2004/5 it finally closed in Dec 2008. A light fitting with a brewery sign can still be seen over the left hand corner of the door as can brackets for window boxes, the sign bracket and other fittings or shadows of.
