Canaletto is a 29-storey apartment block under construction on City Road, overlooking the canal basin. This stretch of City Road has long been an uninspiring no-man's land between the City and Islington, but that is rapidly changing with the appearance of new high-rise apartment blocks, in part attracted by the proximity of 'silicon roundabout', by Old Street tube station.
