The restaurant is now closed and has recently been sold. This building was originally a public house called The Wisbech Arms before it was converted into a restaurant a few years ago. As the Wisbech Arms its main trade was from The Wisbech Livestock Market (demolished in the 1960s) which was over the road and it had extended licensing hours (pre 24/7 drinking) making it popular with dealers, butchers, farmers and many locals.
