Ladderstile Lodge is one of a number of lodges within the Park which serve as accommodation for Park staff, including game-keepers. The lodge stands at what has for centuries been a pedestrian entrance to Richmond Park, allowing access from Kingston Hill. For many years access was by means of ladders on either side of the Park wall.
