Sundial on the Church of St Peter, just above and to the left of the porch. The legend below says "1688 gifte of Edmund Hutchinson, Genteleman'. Mr Hutchinson lived in one of the village's two Manor Houses, and is buried in the chancel of the church. The exterior of the church would once have been whitewashed, and the lightly engraved lines picked out in black.
