One of a number of well-spaced properties on the south side of the busy Torquay Road. The last of the sun on a warm summer's evening lights the upper parts of the house. Lively combinations of cream and orange brick are common in the town and the surrounding area, reflecting the output of the claypits to the north. The large bush on the left looks like a magnolia.
