Taken in 1995. The disused second platform at Bere Alston is home to the signal box and a disused waiting room (just out of shot to the left). The line stops just around the corner, but used to go on to Tavistock, Lydford and Okehampton, where the line still exists and is now run as the seasonal Dartmoor Railway.
